When moving into a new house, you have a lot consider with furnishings and décor. Some things you can spend a little less on and upgrade later, or just hold on to the cheaper models and not have a problem. But there are other things that you need to really invest more money into, to make sure you have the best possible. These are things you don’t want breaking down and you don’t want to be cheap.
Your upflush toilets, for one, should be top quality. You want your toilets to be able to deal with anything that is flushed down them without constantly getting clogged. Not only is that stressful for you, but it can be costly when you to constantly call a plumber to get it fixed. Saniflo toilets are a smart choice.
You should also spend money on a great mattress. You spend about one third of your life sleeping, so you want to be comfortable. A bad mattress can cause back and neck problems, so you want to make sure you are spending more and taking the time to try them out before making a purchase.
Another item to invest in is your couch. After all, you are going to be spending a lot of time in your living room and guests will probably be too, so you want something comfortable and that is going to hold up to use.

Bathroom Renovations and Arranging Pieces

When you are doing bathroom renovations and installing that new tub, bidet faucets and shiny new toilet, you may want to rearrange your items from what they were previously. It can be done with a little thought, tweaking of the plumbing and a good eye. Your new bathroom can really look completely different with the right work.
First, think about how the changes can be done. Can you move the tub from the left wall to the back without having any trouble with piping? It can be done if there was other piping there for the toilet or sink. You can change around what the pipes are used for depending on where you place things.
You also want to make sure your Saniflo toilet isn’t too close to the door, or your sink for that matter. You don’t want it to be a tight squeeze in and out because you placed things a little too close to the entrance.
In my old house, we rearranged the entire bathroom so the tub was where the sink and toilet was, the sink was where the tub was, and the toilet got it’s own new area. If we could pull that off, anyone can rearrange their bathroom during renovations!

Removing Rust Stains From Bathroom Sinks and Toilets

Rust stains can be the bane of your bathroom’s existence. The basic cleaning just doesn’t get them out, but they look terrible. It’s the kind of stain everyone can see and there’s nothing more embarrassing than someone coming over and seeing your not so clean toilet because it rusted. Same goes with the bathroom sink.
First you can try ring removers from your local grocery or pharmacy store. Often, these are just enough to do the trick because the rust isn’t as bad as we initially think it is. If these simple treatments don’t work, it’s time to move on to other ways to save your Saniflo toilet and your undermount bathroom  sink.
A pumice stick is another great way to try to remove rust rings. It works with porcelain but is not recommended for anything made out of fiberglass. All you have to do is wet the bar and rub it back and forth on the stain, which will create a paste. The pastes helps to clean and polish and all you have to do is rinse it afterward.
If these things don’t work, you may want to consider a more heavy duty cleaning solution, but you don’t want to use these too often because you don’t want to ruin your Saniflo toilet with something too powerful.

Taking Care of Whirlpools

Whirlpools are a great thing to have because they truly are relaxing and great for the muscles and body. But you have to make sure that you take good care of them. Basic care means once a week, wiping down the basin to keep mold and mildew from forming and to get rid of all the dirt and residue that can be left behind because of bathing in it.
When performing the system cleaning, make sure your jets are closes tightly. Fill the tub with hot water until the water level is just above the highest jet. Don’t start the whirlpool until the water level is just right. Once it is full, add a cleaning product and let it run for 10 to 15 minutes so it can rinse the system. Once you drain it and let it dry, it should be clean for another two to three months before you have to go through the process again. Make sure to never run your whirlpool without water in it, because it can damage the pump seals which can lead to future leaks or overall failure.
Once you give it a good cleaning, you’ll be good to go for a while. You’ll also know that it’s going to last you longer, the better you take care of it!
