It’s nice to be able to have your own laundry system at home instead of having to go out and get it done. When my parents put in laundry faucets and a sink in our basement next to the washer and dryer, I thought it made a perfectly good area to hand wash clothing like pantyhose and delicate fabrics. But then I realized how helpful it was for a lot of other things.
Laundry faucets in general are bigger, easily adjusted and can be placed just about anywhere you need one, as long as you have the right piping set up for it. They make for a great addition to the home in the basement, as a new faucet in the kitchen, or wherever else you might need that kind of durability and ease of use.
Laundry faucets are really affordable as well. You may want to look into them for even more than just the home, but outside in other areas as well. If you own a restaurant, they’d be perfect for the kitchen. If you work in a place that might need quick and easy clean up, it’d work for that too. That’s the beauty of laundry faucets. They are great for the home and everywhere else. Versatility really is key.

Laundry Faucets Made Chores Easier

In my old basement, we had our dryer and washing machine installed. We also had laundry faucets in a big sink right next to both appliances. When I was younger, I didn’t see the reason for it, but mostly because I wasn’t doing my own laundry and other chores at that time. But when I got older and started to take care of my own clothes, I realized how much easier it was to hand wash items like pantyhose or fragile tops. I also used it to apply stain remover with a little bit of water, just before throwing it into the wash machine to help really remove tough things like sauce or dirt.
Not only that, but those laundry faucets provided me with help for other things, like when I needed to quickly fill a bucket of water to mop the floors and just as easily rinse the mop out afterward. We also kept the family cat downstairs with her food and water, so cleaning out her dishes and refilling her water bowl was a breeze. Even the whole litter box fit fairly well in the sink and the faucets moved well enough to be able to clean off everything. I wouldn’t know what I would have done without it!
